Thirsty for the Limelight: A Divine Musical Comedy

Thirsty for the Limelight is an ensemble puppet musical comedy that traces the journey of Esmerelda on a quest to discover the The Limelight in The Land of Showbizz. Guided by her fairy diva godmother,  Shmiza Shminnelli, Esmerelda encounters a hoard of hopefuls vying for the sacred spotlight. However, to reach the top, Esmerelda must conquer the ruler of Showbizz, Anne Ziety. This theatrical spectacle, filled with original music and puppets, premiered over four nights at the esteemed New Orleans Giant Puppet Festival in April 2024, returned to sold out shows in Los Angeles at The Cat’s Crawl in December 2024 and The Lyric Hyperion Theater in January 2025. Thirsty for the Limelight captivates attendees with its blend of laughter, audience participation, witty bits and shticks.
